                                 END OF INNOCENCE

Child are always full of joy, hopes and innocence but what if these qualities of a child are replaced by tears, hunger, poverty, betrayal, and fear. It is the evil face of child marriage. At the age when child play with their toys they are burned with lots of responsibilities on their shoulder.

Though Child marriage is a very old topic for discussion but it would have been a history for discussion if the child marriage act would have been followed properly keeping politics apart from it. I am again focusing on the child marriage problem followed by the refusal by the Indian Government to co-sponsor the first ever global resolution for elimination and prevention of forced child marriages at the United Nations General Assembly last week, it has raised questions over the political responsibility and pledge to end this problem that has been a great threat in the path of development growth of the country and increase in inequality in gender. The resolution was supported by a cross-regional group over 107 countries with high rates of child marriages. The resolution drifted by the UN Human Rights council emphasized the need to include child, early and forced child marriage in post 2015 international development agenda and recognize the indigenous impact of early marriage on the economic, health, legal and social status of a women and girls as well as the development of a community as a whole.

India has the record of having significantly high rates of child marriage with 24 million child brides representing 40% of the world’s 60 million child brides. Comparatively more girls are forced into a child marriage than boys and this led to various negative effects on young girls. According to the prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, marriage before 18 is illegal in India but still despite of all rules it is being practiced widely in the name of tradition and measures for the safety of girls. The reason behind child marriage in India is the economic condition, castesism and many take it as a preventive measure for protecting girls from rape. Very often parents marry their young girls due to their bad economic condition as they cannot send them to schools, and to prevent their girls from marrying outside the cast without knowing the ill effects of it. Marrying the young girls before their right age leads to various serious problems as they are not physically and psychologically mature enough to handle and understand it, also it arises domestic violence, sexual abuse, sexually transmitted diseases and slavery. Early marriages give rise to early pregnancies and frequent abortions and this can risk the life of the mother as well as child too. It also raises the rate of maternal and infant mortality rates along with various sexual diseases like HIV-AIDS. Child marriage risks the well being of girls by imposing and forcing them for sex and this lead to sexual violence and later unplanned and frequent pregnancies. As the girls are married in an early age they are deprived from education, abandoned from society and face a lifetime economic dependence. Due to these problems many girls are sexually abused and raped by the men in the new family. Taking an example in “yemen” in September a young girl 8 years old married to a man aged 4o years and she was raped by his husband in her wedding night.
Now the question is that even after knowing all these facts why government denied for this step which could have later proved it as a major step to control the child marriages in the country. Some communities like Khap panchayats and Muslim organization opposes the law and favors the child marriage as a preventive for rape. With child marriages many human rights are violated but government keep silent as usual. It seems that the government indicates that they are welcoming the child marriage with open heart. Khap panchayat which nowhere exists in the constitution but still running and favors the most to child marriage but government has not taken any kind of action against it. Politics is always involved everywhere in India and laws are not enough to control it until government breaks it silence over senseless and silly demands of some groups and communities.

“A Childs should call “mother” but a child should not to be called mother”- slogan by CWC (The concerned for Working Children).
This is the map showing age of marriages in different states of India.

               CORRUPTION CALLS IT CORRUPT

Indian politics seems to be very complicated, the one who himself is corrupted root to tip is blaming others for being the same. In India politicians have made the constitution and the government just a dirty game which has trapped the innocent audience with it too. It seems like it has become a process to gain popularity and efforts to empower the common people for every politicians of any party by blaming and questioning each other and the poor audience gets no result of this dirty game.

There was a party's election campaign launched by Rahul Gandhi (Congress Vice-President) in Madhya pradesh on Thursday included two rallies in tribal-dominated Shahdol and urban Gwalior. In his speech he pin-pointed the BJP ruling party there and quoted the sentence "I would like to ask the youth, women and tribals whether they feel they have lived a dignified life during the decade long BJP rule in India" and told people that for him "respect is more important than progress and prosperity". Rahul Gandhi also addressed the people saying, if congress is being voted to be in power in the state would guarantee to a life of dignity to women, children, youth, tribals and other sections of society too and if it does not happen, he would personally make it happen.

But the question arises that from last so many decades Congress is in ruling party but still why people there are not able to feel that dignity and respect for themselves in those states. If we look from Rahul's part he is also in the party since 2007 but he has been able to do nothing for the people except visiting to their homes, eating their food, and giving speeches on the podium. We all know it very well that what benefit has been provided to the common masses since congress is in rule in the country. There has been enormous increase in number of corruption, murder, rapes etc., and still Rahul Gandhi gives us guarantee that his party will work for our betterment.

This is the map showing ruling parties in different states in India and with the help of this map anyone can analyze the number of states congress is in rule and what dignity of life people there enjoys as Rahul talks about that his party would provide feeling of respect to the people. Take an example, Delhi is the center of the county and the central government lies there which is also a congress ruling state and most of the crimes take place there only and the situation has become so worst there in few years since congress in rule there that not a single people is able to step out without fear, specially girls and women. If the government is not capable enough to control the crimes at the center and allow people live freely, how is it going to secure our dignity and respect? The lady being CM there still the highest rape cases are from Delhi itself. Coalgate scam, 2G spectrums, and many more along with every now and then a new scam was the achievement of the congress party can be seen in the picture below.

Why these politicians do not understand that common people has got nothing to do with their dirty political games they just need a fair government which will work for their betterment keeping their needs in mind. I personally feel that BJP is far better party than congress it’s not that I have got some kind of special benefits from that party but the reason is that I am also a common people of the country and educated enough to understand which party is doing somewhat good for us. It’s not like that BJP is not corrupted anywhere or it has been fair to the people from all the aspects but the thing is that everyone is a bit corrupt but access of everything is bad and congress is doing access of it. Congress is facing criticism from all over the world and well known for its corruption but still the party calls the other one corrupt and therefore people should vote for them. The party does not have even shame for what they have done to the country, had they been ashamed of their work they would not have even faced the common people who are going through price rise, corruption, and lots of problems.

                   Height of Brutality

It's really out of my understanding what has happened to people, and moreover what has happened to our country...? Why can't we control all the happenings and thrills taking place in our country against women. After Delhi gang rape many protests took place, people came up with candle march on the street against it but, it made no difference. New laws came up but still nothing got improved moreover it is going on increasing day by day.

People just wake up....what are you all waiting for..? In a Country where women are called "LAXMI" and compared to goddess, every day the respect of same women is being smashed like anything. People go on talking about the culture of India...is this our culture? Many questions comes to my mind but finds no answer from anyone.

Today i came to know about an incident in Bhubaneswar a 40 years old person in a drunken state, tonsured her head, slashed her private part with blade, attacked on her stomach by tube light. The injured lady told to the police in her FIR that her husband in that bleeding and hurting stage forcibly stitched her wounds and in that pain forced her to have sex with him.

Don't you people think it's the height of brutality..?? Does a women meant always to bear all these silently...? Where is our government this time, who try to make us fool by all their fake promises?  Our government by their party symbol that is "palm" shows that their hands are always with us and for us...but i cannot see it anywhere.

When will our government seriously think over the women issues and various other issues in the country going on...or we should just make-up our self with a belief that nothing is going to change how much you talk or complain about it, so just keep shut your mouth and watch all this as a blind person.

 Dramatic politics

After the ordinance on convicted lawmakers was passed by the parliament with the consent of all the political parties, today the vice-president of Congress party Rahul gandhi stood against the ordinance and called it totally non-sense and it should be torn up and thrown away because it provides shield to convicted MPs and MLAs. Doesn't it seems very dramatic..??? When this ordinance was being passed and finalized were he not aware of those things?? Yesterday sushma swaraj, BJP leader also came up with the same thing. Congress is trying their best to bring them back in the government but it really sounds dramatic that a government supported the ordinance and the vice-president of the party government himself calls it nonsense and trying to prove the government wrong. These are all tricks to grab the attention of the people and make them realize that the government is for them but my question is that why didn't he came up with the same at that time inside the parliament?

Ordinance was supported by all the political parties and this show how corrupt all our respected leaders are, as this ordinance was to shield them and led their continuity with whatever they were doing earlier without any fear. Where every time leaders talks about elimination of corruption from the country, however they themselves are corrupted from root to tip. Every time they just come up with some dramatic statements and movements and keep on contradicting each other to hide their own wrong deeds in front of the people. They are so good in scripting and framing their sentences that they should be awarded by the best dramatic person award.

   Second God is no more

The doctors in India are treated as the second god, who are to serve and save the life of every person in need. At the same time the Doctors too take an oath that they will always be ready to serve their patients at any time and treating all their patients equally. A doctor in Jalandhar, Punjab, has proved all these absolutely opposite of whatever has been stated for them. A minor girl, 8 years old was raped by her neighbor on Wednesday. The victim with her family reached to the Civil Hospital at approx. 11 pm. Doctor there denied to admit the rape victim in the hospital by giving the reason that there was no FIR or the police officials and made them wait outside the ward till 4 am in the morning. Whereas as per police officials the after listening the victim’s statement the FIR was immediately launched at 12 am at night against the accused. This was the third such incident in last 15 days. This is totally the negligence of the doctors, and an example how the rape victims are being treated. Every time the women/girls in India are being victimized and that is not only by the rapist and one who molests them but also by these kind of people and treatments.

                                Creator v/s Creation

Government is developing new safety device for women to make them secure and safe but is it enough and relevant for the safety of the women in India? It is well known that a major population of India lives in rural areas and are not so literate to understand neither afford these kinds of devices, in this case how this device is going to help them? What about the minor girl mainly age of 3 to 10 years old who do not understand much about devices and allegedly being raped every now and then. Is the police and laws in the country not capable enough to provide security that they felt a need for these kind of technology  and if they are not how can a device give the guarantee of safety. Any device is a technology created by human being and if the creator is unable to perform their task how can the creation do the same.

who is wrong and who is right???

The rapist prosecutor Mr. A.P Singh has given a statement regarding the 16th December Delhi gang rape death penalty given by a trial court that a woman needs lifetime security of her family and she should remain under them. One side where Indian Constitution talk about strengthening the women power in India and having an equality among the citizen either male or female, at the same time Mr. Singh is trying to restrict women for a particular area and also discouraging women power.  And also he has said that the involvement of a girl in any kind of sexual relationship with her male partner before marriage is totally wrong and these kinds of activities are harm for the society, whereas some days before court had implemented a law which stated that if a girl and a boy is eligible according to their age, is involved in a sexual relationship before marriage with their own understanding and permission, then it is legal. Earlier also he has given statement against the court that court has given the death penalty to the rapist under pressure. So he is directly questioning and pointing out the verdict of court and trying to prove the court wrong. In this situation should the country follow the law maker that is the court or the law representative like advocate Mr. A.P. Singh?
